To provide our services safely and professionally, Rose City Originals collects necessary personal information, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, and reference photos you upload during the booking process. Prior to your appointment, we also collect mandatory health and medical information via our digital consent forms to ensure you can be tattooed safely.

Your personal information is strictly used for the following operational purposes:

• Communicating with you regarding your booking request, deposit, and appointment scheduling.
• Performing our tattoo services safely and effectively.
• Maintaining legally required health and consent records in accordance with Alberta provincial health regulations.

Data Security & Storage

We take your privacy seriously. All personal data, booking requests, and consent forms are stored securely in our encrypted digital booking system. Access to this information is strictly limited to authorized studio personnel (your specific artist and studio administration).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties under any circumstances.

Media Release & Portfolio Use

With your explicit permission, we may take photographs or videos of your completed tattoo or the tattooing process. These images may be used for our professional portfolios, social media accounts, and website marketing. You have the absolute right to opt-out of having your photos shared publicly—just let your artist know.

Google Data Usage

Our artist portal allows our artists to connect their Google Calendar to sync tattoo appointments automatically. Rose City Originals’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically: We only request access to manage Google Calendar events in order to schedule, update, or cancel tattoo appointments. We do not use this data for targeted advertising, nor do we sell, rent, or share Google user data with any third-party tools or external entities.
