Keep the bandage on for exactly the time your artist recommended (usually 2-4 hours). Wash hands thoroughly, remove bandage gently, and wash tattoo with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or unscented lotion 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks. Do not pick, scratch, swim, or soak until fully healed.

Arrive well-rested, well-fed (carbs, protein, and sugar all help), and sober. Moisturize the area for a few days beforehand. Avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Yes. Deposits range from $100 to $500 depending on the piece. They are nonrefundable and go toward the cost of your final session.

Our shop minimum is $150. Each artist sets their own rate, which may be hourly or based on the project. Reach out with your idea and we'll give you an honest estimate.

We accept e-transfer and cash. No credit or debit cards.

Yes, cover-ups are available. Some may require laser sessions beforehand depending on the existing tattoo. We'll assess your specific situation during consultation.

All artists at Rose City Originals are certified for bloodborne pathogens and completed traditional tattoo apprenticeships. The shop is licensed by the City of Camrose and collaborates with Alberta Health.

Devin Hesketh specializes exclusively in black and white dark realism. Emily Devenz specializes in American Traditional. Other styles may be accommodated depending on the piece. Reach out to discuss.

We do not tattoo anyone under 18 years of age. No exceptions, regardless of parental consent.

Piercings are not offered at Rose City Originals.

Street parking is available in front of the shop. Side street parking is available for longer sessions.
